HOW IT WORKS

Skin boosters flood the dermis with hyaluronic acid and hold water where creams cannot reach. Polynucleotides go further — they are purified DNA fragments that signal the fibroblasts to behave like younger cells, laying down collagen and calming inflammation.

Both improve texture, fine crepe lines, and that dull, thin quality that no amount of filler fixes. Neither will change your shape, which is precisely the point.

WHAT WE TREAT

Face, neck, décolletage, hands and the eye area. The under-eye is one of the few places where polynucleotides outperform everything else we own — they thicken and settle crepey skin without adding a drop of volume.

Also used on acne scarring, stretch marks, and thinning hair, and as the first stage of almost every plan we write for skin that is dehydrated or damaged.

Skin boosters
WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAY

A series of tiny injections across the treatment area, either as micro-droplets or at set points. It takes about half an hour, with numbing cream first if you would like it.

You leave with small raised bumps that look like insect bites. They flatten within two to six hours, and by the evening they are gone.

AFTERCARE

Nothing on the skin for the rest of the day except the aftercare we send you home with. No make-up until the next morning, no exercise or heat for twenty-four hours.

Some bruising is normal, particularly under the eye.

GOOD TO KNOW

One session will do very little. These treatments are sold as courses because that is how they work — typically two to four sessions, two to four weeks apart, then a top-up twice a year.

If your budget only stretches to one thing, this is more often the right thing than filler is.

Skin boosters — questions
How is this different from filler?
Filler sits under the skin and changes shape. Boosters go into the skin and change quality. You can have one without ever needing the other.
How many will I need?
Two to four sessions depending on the product, spaced two to four weeks apart, then maintenance every six to twelve months.
When will I see it?
Around the four-week mark, and it keeps improving for a couple of months after the final session. This is a slow treatment and we say so upfront.
Can I have it under my eyes?
Yes — this is where polynucleotides do their best work, particularly on fine crepey skin that filler would only make puffy.
